The cultivated meat industry knows its bottlenecks: growth media responsible for the overwhelming majority of production cost, bioreactor designs with no path to scale, and texture targets months of wet-lab trial and error away. Industry roadmaps demand radical cost reductions, yet most design decisions continue to be tested the slow way: by building them.

I spent years mapping these bottlenecks in macroeconomic analysis, EU research monitoring and hands-on bioreactor experiments. To remove them, I built Zentari.

Research stage

A compiler for programmable molecular devices. From a molecular function brief, Zentari Nano proposes nanoscale device candidates; it ranks them across behaviour, safety, manufacturability and evidence maturity; it learns from assay outcomes. The platform serves nanomedicine, synthetic biology, diagnostics and smart-materials teams within a disciplined research and design-support frame.

Where Zentari is heading

  1. Phase one, early access. Private design twins for selected partners: brief in, ranked candidates and validation reports out.
  2. Phase two, shared validation. Texture Passports as a common, portable proof of what a design does, across teams and partners.
  3. Phase three, an ecosystem. Provenance and compatibility across materials, processes and products, ending the industry's habit of re-learning the same lessons.
